For someone like me who uses this to cook not only appams but also other things like koftas, pakodas and cheese balls, the size is perfect. If you are someone who will be using it only for appams, you might want to go for the model with 7 cavities where the size of each cavity is larger.It is as we expected it to be.good quality.
The most important thing before buying paddu pan is look for flat base so that the pan sits stable on the burner
This is an excellent pan for making paniyarams
The finish and weight of the pan is too good
but bit pricey
The size is such that pan gets equally heated with the same browning effect for all paniyarams
